Although the December 8 due date of Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Pink Friday 2‘ looming, the Rap royal appears to still be very much putting the finishing touches on the project which serves as her long-awaited fifth studio album.
Frequently going live on social media to give her beloved fans (affectionately called #Barbz) updates, Nicki’s alluded to pushing the LP’s delivery back again due to last-minute changes.
One of said changes may be the addition of a fiery new track featuring R&B stars Monica and Keyshia Cole.

Taking to Instagram on Friday (December 1), Minaj revealed she was in the studio with the ‘Trust‘ hitmakers.
When not interacting with stunned commenters, singing, and freestyling, the trio jokingly shared they started a girl group called “Mo’Nicki Cole.”
While Nicki did not confirm if the award-winning songstresses will be featured on ‘Pink’ or if she’s teaming with them for some other project, what is sure is that the collaboration is one that’s Barb-approved (as evidenced by the slew of well-wishing comments).
Longtime fans of the Rap Queen know she’s previously shared studio time with Keyshia for the diva’s 2010 hit ‘I Ain’t Thru‘ (found aboard the ‘Calling All Hearts’ album).

I saw the 23-minute clip on Twitter and I must say this trio was hella entertaining. The chemistry was ridiculous. The attitude, the eyes, the shades, they way they feed of each other energy and words… had me laughing at their antics. It reminded me of the chemistry between Pam and Gina. If they are able to translate this chemistry into a record, then they have a hit on their hands.
Aside from that..YO…they need to do more lives together. It was just that good.

Trust by Monica and Keyshia Cole is one of the best R&B duets. It’s underrated and both ladies sang their souls out. Be so serious. Acting like this is Ciara and Amerie duet.
The rollout for this album is catastrophic. Now she’s resorted to going live with two washed up singers from 20+ years ago. Nicki going out sad.
